Marketing is a game, and I love to play the game, build the right team, and watch sales numbers grow. Others play fantasy football, I do this marketing game. It's a simple formula, really: integrate story telling and relevant messaging with smart paid traffic to the right channels. Test, learn and scale. 

I reached this point by:

1. Learning sales as a real estate agent in 2001
2. Learning human psychology and how to tell stories that move people as a journalist in 2004, 
3. Learning digital marketing in 2008 by working in agencies and in house
4. Learning business management by profitably running my own marketing agency, and eventually selling it in 2014
