A man once wronged me in business. The result was a loss of income and, mostly, pride. Let's call him Alf. I was angry at Alf for a couple years. I thought about him regularly and I couldn't shake the anger. At times it consumed me.
Until I met someone else in business who seemed to have even worse ethics.
My perspective changed. I saw Alf in a different way, and understood where he came from. I wasn't angry anymore. It was freeing.
Perspective. It changes everything.
People get upset because of their perspective.
People get happy because of their perspective.
Depression, midlife crisis, anger, conflict, satisfaction, relationships, love, humor, fulfillment. You name it. It's all caused by your perspective.
So, with what you're doing right now, what you are feeling right now, what is your perspective? What perspective is making you feel the way you do?
If you changed your perspective, how would you feel?
